Why does this matter? Well the last Outlast: Whistleblower video sadly lacked its overlay because it just wasn't recorded at the time. I kept the archives though, so right now my computer is (still) working on making the frames to produce a new overlay. It is going at about one frame per second though, and I need 60 frames per second, and there are some 177,000 frames I need... this will be done in a couple more days, and then I can start the video work.
So I'm not sure if I'm going to do it quite like this again, as it seems the blood flow graph is taking the longest time, and it is also the only part that needs to be at 60 FPS. I may recreate the overlay in the future though, because it would be a way to have both the heart-rate and gaze-tracking overlay on the same video, while getting around the two-encoder limit NVIDIA arbitrarily set for GeForce owners. (The NVENC encoder is able to handle many more video streams, but the drivers only unlock it for the professional cards that are in the thousands of dollars.)
I also have the ability to render histograms of the heart rate data, showing the distribution.
In addition to that, I also added a couple links to the YouTube channel's main page.I doubt either will see much use, but hey, if they do not exist, they cannot see any. Both are just for ways for people to support the channel, with one being PayPal and the other being Patreon. Would be really awesome to get some support like this, but it isn't like I'm going to stop making the videos. Okay, I am still on a break as I do other projects, but I am coming back, soon I hope.
So, if anyone reads this post and would like to support the channels, me, or just want to clean out their wallet a little, the Patreon link is above and around, and the PayPal donation link is on the channel. (I'd oddly prefer Patreon, just because I feel like it is more incentive to keep making videos than a one-time donation, but whatever works for you.)
Update: Decided to have the histograms posted on Patreon. They are/will be public, but that is where they will reside.
